Assistance in Vaccine Registration

Please Take Notice

The Village of Rhinebeck Municipality has requested support from the Rhinebeck Interact Club, a service organization for high school students sponsored by Rhinebeck Rotary, and Rhinebeck Responds to assist all residents of the village to get registered on the Dutchess County registration site. Mayor Bassett said, “Many of our residents are confused with the role-out of the vaccine and many more do not have internet access or have not heard about the registration in the County. We have brought these two great organizations together working with us to reach out to our senior citizens or any resident to assist them in registering for the vaccine. Starr Library was simultaneously organizing outreach, so we will all work together. We are grateful to have all of these organizations in our community that are willing to put their time and effort to assist our residents.”

Members of these organizations will soon be calling residents offering their help to process the online form on the County’s website. There is no confidential information required for the registrations. For information on the Starr Library program please contact, njackson@starrlibrary.org

County Executive Molinaro introduced the County’s new Vaccination Information Request Form, which gathers more detailed information from residents to assess their eligibility, under New York State’s phased distribution program and refines the County’s system to better assist those looking for information about COVID-19 vaccine availability.

The new Vaccination Information Request Form will replace current email notifications and does not pre-register residents for an appointment. County residents who had previously signed up to receive such notifications are asked to fill out the new form with their updated information in order to continue receiving notifications.

Residents who complete the new Vaccination Information Request Form will be added to the County’s notification list and will be advised when the County has an appointment at a Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health (DBCH) Point of Dispensing (POD), which may take several months, based on current supply. They will also receive updates about other local vaccinations options (state-run PODs, hospitals, pharmacies, etc.).
