Members of the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, as well as the public, are invited to attend an informational session on our Natural Resources Inventory Project. The session is hosted by the Village's Climate Smart Rhinebeck Task Force and our partners in the project, the Hudson River Estuary Program. Nate Nardi-Cyrus, Conservation and Land Use Specialist at the Hudson River Estuary Program, will give a short presentation and there will be time for discussion prior to the Planning Board’s regularly scheduled meeting at 7pm.

6:30pm on September 21, 2021
You may join in person upstairs at Village Hall, or online via Zoom:

Climate Smart Rhinebeck Task Force invites you learn about our new project, a Natural Resources Inventory. This project, a collaboration between Town and Village of Rhinebeck and Town of Hyde Park, will result in a set of maps with narrative explanation—of particular interest as a planning tool, and as a public resource. This info session will provide an introduction to NRIs and share a few preliminary maps of Rhinebeck as examples of more to come. The purpose of the session is to spread awareness about the project's progress and invite any members of boards or the public to contribute feedback.

To dig into the project and what we’ve accomplished thus far, please see this webpage:

The project is made possible and cost-free to the Village by Hudson River Estuary Program and Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County.
