Public Input Requested for Village’s Government Operations Climate Action Plan

Trustee Bertozzi has been working with Climate Smart Task Force volunteers as part of the Village’s involvement in the region’s Climate Action Planning Institute (CAPI). The project is multifold and has been playing out over the course of months, and now we are ready for villagers to have a look and provide comments and questions.

In particular, we request feedback on our Government Operations Climate Vision Statement:

VISION: The Village of Rhinebeck has transformed our municipal facilities into resilient, energy efficient, healthy workplaces and our fleet into high-performing, low-polluting tools to get the job done.

Please send public comment by March 5th to Clerk Martina at mmcclinton@villageofrhinebeckny.gov

You can get more context on these projects, as well as other efforts related to climate change, at the Village’s Climate Smart Rhinebeck website:
